Xandú: Honouring Our Ancestors is one facet of Land Connects Us, a series of workshops and exhibitions highlighting our ongoing relationship to our ancestors. It explores how various art forms can support and further community-building efforts within Indigenous communities across Turtle Island.

This exhibition uses cellphilms (cellphone video production), food, and storytelling to form an international relationship and cross-cultural exchange between Mi’kmaq and Zapotec Indigenous youth, nurturing a language and cultural reclamation network.
